DIY Notecard and a GIVEAWAY!

Here's a quick and easy gift idea -- DIY note cards.
Items you need:
1. Fabric scraps
2. Blank note cards {they frequently go on sale at Hobby Lobby}
3. Double Sided Wonder-Under
4. An iron
5. Sewing machine if you want to do some decorative stitching. There's all kinds of fun ways to customize these!
Cut your fabric to size, iron to one side of the wonder-under, peel the wax paper off then iron to the blank card. You can stitch around the outside if you want for extra character.
I'm giving this set of 6 coordinating cards away to a reader! Just comment on this post what you would do with the cards {connect with an old friend, re-gift for your sisters birthday, whatev} and I'll use a random number generator to pick the winner. To make things easy, you just need to comment once. I'll post the winner one week from today!

  6. Very Cute, Nicole! I love it! I am super into Note cards right now because I have started setting aside a little time each week to write encouraging notes to friends, family, and coworkers all over the world and sending them via snail mail-everybody loves snail mail and everybody loves to be encouraged!

  10. so fun! since I don't have the means to make them myself, I'd be tempted to keep them...but would probably send them over the ocean for people's special occasions.

  11. So inspired by this craft! I have some fabric scraps laying around, and now I finally have an idea what to do with them. I would send them to my family overseas in Sweden, to show some new ideas of letter making!

  12. Your beautiful cards would be perfect for the sweet, heartfelt thank you my children's teachers deserve. One is an art teacher and I feel sure she would find other uses for hers! What wonderfully cheery fabric!
    Makes me smile :)
